Central Fund for Personal Computers
《Application for “The Jockey Club IT Scheme for People with Visual Impairment” and/ or “Central Fund for Personal Computers”》 new

“The Jockey Club IT Scheme for People with Visual Impairment” (6th round) and “Central Fund for Personal Computers” (18th round) now accept applications. The deadline for both the Scheme and Fund is 6 June 2008.

Eligible organisations, educational institutes and individual persons with visual impairment may apply for “The Jockey Club IT Scheme for People with Visual Impairment” whereas “Central Fund for Personal Computers” is for eligible persons with disabilities engaging in self-employment or supported employment service.

Hong Kong Rehabilitation Programme Plan (RPP) new

The 2005 - 2007 Rehabilitation Programme Plan Review Working Group has announced the RPP. Recommendations set out in the RPP will form the basis for various sectors of the community, including the business sector, non-government organisations and the Government, to forge collaboration in providing equal opportunities for persons with disabilities and to facilitate their integration into the community.

Computer Access Specialty Service

Computer Access Specialty Service new

Rehabaid Centre provides a "Computer Access Specialty Service" to assist persons with disabilities in solving problem of computer access in daily day life. The therapists will recommend to them how to have optimal operation of the computer with their bodies, choose the appropriate computer furniture and access device, acquire computer access skills, etc.
